(More customer reviews)My first purchase was the assortment (milk choc, rich choc and milk choc w/marsmallows) but not for my use. I was planning ahead and wanted to add some of the packets with each Christmas gift I was giving to homes with children. Snowman 'tea' pots with matching snowman mugs, complete with 'lids' or heads with top hats. I also wanted some of envelopes of instant soup & noodles to throw into the empty pot just to show that the 'tea' pot wasn't actually for the adults' use or just for tea, but more for the kids after school snacks. No 'boiling water' for the cocoa; just hot water, stir and drink. However, I would never give a gift of an item I hadn't tasted myself, so I did. Now, I'm hooked. My favorite is the Rich Chocolate because if/when I do eat chocolate, it has to be dark, dark, dark. This 'rich' choice is heavenly. I did like the other two varieties also, the milk chocolate and the milk chocolate with the tiny marshmallows (that actually look like 2mm pebbles, but they are white and they do float...)
In any event, I liked this stuff so much that I even tried mixing 2 flavors: i.e., milk choc and the rich - still good. Needless to say, I am back here to order more (and put it on Subscribe and Save) as the colder weather is coming and this is going to be a nice break from all the tea I drink.
Pour envelope (or two) into a cup/mug. (One envelope requires only 3/4 Cup hot water, so if you're looking for an adult-sized coffee mug full, use two envelopes and double the water). I don't even measure the water anymore: just two envelopes and fill my mug about 3/4" from the top. I like using a whisk to mix it up because it creates a bit of froth on the top that sticks to my upper lip and brings back great childhood memories!
The powder dissolves rather easily, so even a young child could probably make his/her own that is not too hot to drink immediately. This is rich, creamy hot chocolate and I'm going to keep it on hand from now on. As with any hot chocolate, the chocolate does settle to the bottom of the mug, so one must keep stirring unless you are drinking it down in one gulp, so keeping a spoon handy is recommended.

One criticism that I hope can be addressed by the import processors is the US nutrition label. People, especially on Amazon, are interested in what's in their food and may even pay extra for natural ingredients. This add on nutrition label was stupidly stuck right over the ingredients list. There is no way to please everyone with an add on label but please do not cover up the English language ingredients.

They have just enough cheesiness to satisfy cravings and have lots of soy protein to keep you feeling full. I think the larger bags might be a better deal, but the individual serving bags are handy- I keep a few in my desk at work and also in my car. I have also tried the apple cinnamon, sea salt, and salt & vinegar, and this one is by far my favorite.

They are great if your 'throughput' is a little sluggish, they will help you up your water intake (because they are VERY dry), and they stop carb cravings because they fill your stomach. I spread a little sugar free jelly or Walden Farms sugar free chocolate sauce on them to help ease the dryness. Don't get me wrong, you need to like the taste of bran. They are sort of like all-bran got stomped by an elephant and made into a wafer. I eat them to stop my pacing the kitchen late at night or to cure the same thing around 3:30 in the afternoon, which allows me to stay on my eating program.

Label comparison puts Carnation's no sugar added breakfast drink on top. A third the carbohydrates as all the others, fewer calories by far, same vitamin content basically, and Carnation's no sugar version came out nicely on protein. And, here's the surprise, it tastes really good. So why down 20g more carbs, less protein and a lot more calories with Kelloggs or Carnation's sugared version, when this is available. Yum.

(More customer reviews)I have a sensetive enough stomach that I can't always tolerate solid food and Carnation has become an absolute godsend. Unlike some meal replacement drinks (Boost and Ensure come to mind), Carnation really lacks any kind of synthetic taste. In fact, I love the taste to death instead of previous options I've tried which were just something I had to endure to avoid passing out from not eating.
It's got a great mix of vitamins and minerals that really do make it a meal in a glass. Wonderful product and, from a practical standpoint, it makes you more likely to actually have breakfast since it's so easy to mix up a glass and you can drink it while you're doing other parts of your morning ritual.

(More customer reviews)These biscuits are excellent and have become a staple in my cupboard. I will have to agree that the packaging and shipping from Amazon leaves a lot to be desired. I have received two shipments on this product. The first shipment was great with little to no crumbling or crushing....as good or better than what I found in my local grocer. The second shipment arrived in very poor condition. The box looked like it had been dropped kicked a couple of times. There is no effort to cushion or protect these biscuits from shipping damage. The six biscuit packages are simply put in the shipping box, and shipped. My first shipment was obviously a lucky shipping experience without need for cushioning, but the second shipment had obviously been mishandled. If you're listening amazon....you need to start using air pillows with this product, and enough of them to actually work. My last experience has left me wary of ordering again without improvements to the shipping packaging.
