Subtle hints of wine washed over my tongue and the cheese I sampled it on was perfect- a nice medium aged cheddar brought out all the flavor. The color, a soft ruby red, I can imagine I will be using this as a finishing salt to show it off as well. I thought the price was fair for the quantity and obvious quality.
