I used Enfamil lipil for my first child, who didn't really care for it, but tolerated it better than anything else. For my second child, I figured Enfamil was the best choice again. After a month, she was colicy and fussy from gas all the time. I switched to Enfamil for fussy babies, it didn't help. In fact, she wouldn't drink it at all. My pediatrician suggested soy, so I tried Enfamil Soy formula. She hated it. I was at Kroger, looking at other brands, when i came across Bright Beginnings. I had never heard of it, so i was a little wary, but upon comparison, it has higher levels of DHA and ARA than any other brand I compared it to, as well as more of most of the other nutrients as well. That includes all of the National brands. It was also substantially cheaper. I paid about $19 USD for 31.7 oz. Enfamil runs about $25 for 25.7 oz. That's a huge savings.
The only problem I have is the ease of finding it. It's not easy to find. Kroger stopped carrying it. Walmart doesn't carry it, nor do any of the drugstores in town. I have had to resort to the Amazon. But it's ok, because even with shipping, it's still substantially cheaper than Enfamil, Similac, or Nestle.
Most importantly, my daughter loves it, she's much happier now, and has substantially less gas than with the Enfamil. She rarely spits up, which she did often with the Enfamil.
I highly recommend this product for anyone who can't or chooses not to breastfeed their baby.

Ultra Bright Beginnings Soy contains 19mg DHA per 100 Calories - more than any other brand.DHA is an important nutrient occurring naturally in mother's milk that aids in the proper development of a baby's brain and eyes.Due to an allergy to cows' milk or lactose sensitivity, milk-based formulas are not the best option for many babies.Reactions to milk-based formulas include general fussiness during or after feeding, gas or bloating, or the development of colic. When these reactions occur you may be advised by your pediatrician to switch to soy formula.Soy formula may also be recommended to help your baby recover from a bout of diarrhea. Our soy formula meets all FDA standards, and it provides the benefits of the lipids DHA & ARA at a savings compared to other national DHA brands.
