Apple Jacks, one of Kellogg's troika of cereals that Moms hate but kids love! (The other two of the troika are Corn Pops and Froot Loops.)
To me, Apple Jacks have the least intense flavor of the troika, I find the flavor of the apple and cinnamon mild compared to the corn and fruit flavor of the other two banned cereals. Moms hate them because of the sugar, but this cup serving only gives you 20g of sugar compared to 39g in a 12oz Coke, so at least it's not as bad as a can of Coke and fruit juices all have sugar so you can't really get away from it. And it does contain quite a bit of vitamins and minerals (see nutrition panel) so it's a lot better than a can of Coke in the morning!
This individual pack is very handy. You can carry it anywhere with you and all you need is a small carton of milk to make it a meal or a snack. And this individual pack prevents you from overeating it (unless you decide to eat 2-3 of them at once.) This container is much better than the old small carton container which you had to find another bowl to pour into or dump into a carton of milk to eat.
So:
Pros: Handy size. Convenient on the go. No bowl needed.
Cons: Moms don't like them.
