As a cereal, it is better than most oat-bran cereals we've tried, with nice crunchies mixed in with the flakes. But it isn't what I reach for first to pour in my bowl for cereal. My mom and I used it to make muffins. It made the best high-fiber oat-bran muffins either one of us had ever tasted! We made dozens and dozens of them and then froze them - thawing them out one-at-a-time. My sister came and tried them later too. She agreed the muffins were wonderful. I now order 6 boxes at a time from Amazon and make muffins at home for my family. We have them in the freezer all the time and my husband takes them with him on trips.

(More customer reviews)throw these beauties in your cereal, your oatmeal, in your kid's lunch, craisins are just wonderful. sweet and tart and moist, they are so useful in the kitchen for all manner of surprises.
the huge bag has a convenient zipper top that works (so many don't, but this does) and the seal protects the product for a couple months if you think they will last that long.
mix it up a bit and add craisins to your savory dishes: in a stuffing, in rice, finely chopped in a sauce or reduction. if you are using fresh rosemary or thyme with a meat dish, think of a way to add these to your recipe. like dried apricots they are wonderful with pork.
i could go on... five stars.
