The fact that the sugar in Organic Similac is from cane sugar and not corn syrup makes a world of difference. By feeding your child Organic milk you are keeping the fertilizers, pesticides, and antibiotics out of your child. FYI, ingredients in fertilizers and pesticides which are transferred to regular milk cows through eating the grass and in turn consummed by your child are CARCINOGENS. More importantly, your child will not ingest the antibiotics given to regular cows which lowers the affectiveness of antibiotics given to your child when he or she needs them.

(More customer reviews)I formula fed my baby since she was born and really struggled to find a formula that didn't constipate. We tried Enfamil Premium, Similac, Sams Club Gentle Protein, and finally Nestle Good Start Supreme. All produced hard stool with the exception of the Good Start Supreme (orange can). While my daughter still struggles somewhat with gas, the loose stool is much more preferred for her at this young age (six weeks) than the other formulas.
We also tried the Nestle Good Start Protect Plus (green can) and this really upset my daughter's tummy. We were disappointed since we would love for her to have that extra immunity support, but at this age it seems the orange can is the only thing that she can tolerate.

It got so bad we had to go once a week to the doctor for medication and "prescribed" diaper creams...nothing worked. Got the Dr. Smiths idea from another mom....in 4 days her diaper rash cleared up and we were able to keep it at bay with Dr. Smiths. This is the best kept mommy secret ever. Due to the cost we only used Dr. Smiths when it looked like a diaper rash may start or in the summer for heat rash. I even found the product works great on my older children and myself for irritation, heat rash and other irritations. When I say this is Gold in a Jar....I'm not kidding!!! I know give this as a baby gift to all new mommies...never fails I get a call of thanks within the first 6 months and a "this stuff is great...I'm so glad you turned me on to Dr. Smiths!" (More customer reviews)I was using Kirkland brand formula because it's cheap and good quality. Target is a much more convenient place to shop, so I was so excited when I discovered their formula. It's about $1 more than Kirkland but half the price of Similac. Nutritional values are the same, and it has a good consistency. A big plus is that Target's brand doesn't foam up like Kirkland does, so I know my baby is actually getting the number of ounces I'm making for her. I definitely recommend!

Any seller that is taking advantage of food shortage for a BABY should be ASHAMED of themselves. This is not a hot toy this is FOOD for a BABY!!!

The DR told us our only option was soy. I did not want to use soy with all the added estrogen in it so as a last resort we tried a sample we had of this formula. It is amazing we have had no problems since switching to it!!!

This cereal is fluffy and flakey in apperance and desolves easily in formula or breast milk. It is made with wholsome organic ingredents. The price is reasonable about $[...] for a single 6oz box at the local natural grocery. We have tried several brands of Rice Cereal and find this to disolve the best and does not get stuck to the sides of the bottle.

(More customer reviews)I had been using happy belly baby cereal since Gavin was 4 months old, but decided to switch it up and offer him some new grains. I chose this cereal because it includes barley in the mix, which I like alot. Gavin really likes the taste, eats it up just fine. It is a finer cereal than happy belly, and can get a little gelatinous, but Gavin doesn't seem to mind (he hates Gerber baby cereals, however). I like to add mashed fruit, canned pumpkin or spices (especially cinnamon and ginger) to the cereal to keep it interesting.

(More customer reviews)We tried several formula's for our newborn before this one and none worked as well. It's the exact same formula of ingredients as Enfamil Gentlease Lipil but for 1/2 the price. What we like best is that when shaken, there are virtually no bubbles or foaming which is great for newborn babies or babies with spit up or gas issues. The partially broken down whey is easier on babies stomach to digest. Works very well and we will be exclusively buying this product from now on, however, the six pack has no price advantage once shipping costs are added in. If you live where you don't have access to Target, it pays to have it shipped. If you live close to a Target, buy it at the store.

Although I breastfed exclusively for 5+mths, I didn't have the time nor inclination to pump very often so I bought this to mix with baby cereal or water down pureed food once my frozen milk supply ended. Ready-to-eat in 2oz was the perfect convenience, especially since the lid screws back on. If these had a pop-top or tear-off-foil top that could not be resealed they would not be very convenient. My baby showed no signs of tummy problems when I introduced this formula. I cannot comment on how these would work as a bottle with the nipple attached because I never used it as such.
The bottle cannot be recycled in my CT town's municipal recycling program. I considered deducting a star for that!

(More customer reviews)This product is wonderful for my little girl. She cannot tolerate milk based formaula's right now so the peds ofc put her on soy. This formula also helps her go poop, she was constantly consitipated on the Similac Isomil Soy.
The only complaint is that a case at the supermarket is $18.00 cheeper than ordering it from here. the Giant stores can order it for you but you would have to pick it up.
Would highly recommend this formula and beleive me I've tried many brands in the soy.

(More customer reviews)Our daughter has severe GER and we tried everything from prilosec to every formula out there enfamil, similac, etc... As last resort our pediatrician said to try Neocate. We have been using it for a month and all symptoms are gone. It's very easy to mix and daughter loves it.
Only thing is its expensive so if you can get your insurance company to cover it that will help. Some states have laws that force them to cover it with a doctors note.
