Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Grain Cereal, Almond, 16-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)It really stinks that eating the healthiest foods costs the most but in my opinion, it's worth it. I love these cereals. The first case I bought from amazon was the original and I wound up eating it for breakfast, snacks, lunch, whenever, without milk or adding anything... I love the crunch and the taste. I actually ate the whole case in about 2 weeks and very little else... and it is amazing that I didn't gain weight, my bms were much better, and I had great energy and felt well- my body was craving it. Try that on Coco Puffs, Cornflakes, and even any of the other "healthy" cereals in the healthfood stores!
I actually make my own sprouted grain breads and crackers which I could easily break up to make this type of cereal- there is nothing in the world like it, but it takes 2 days of sprouting and a couple of hours to complete the food processing and spreading on the baking sheet process, and then 3-4 hours of low-heat baking. So when I don't have time to do this, a very close second are the Ezekiel products (their bread, english muffins, cereals, and pastas).
Anyone who makes health their top priority will eat very little of non-sprouted grain products (flour products). For those interested, Amazon sells a book called the Essene Gospel of Peace which contains writings found in the Vatican archives- in this little book, Jesus teaches his followers how to make bread, and it has nothing to do with taking the dry grain and grinding it up into flour and using yeast- he teaches them to soak the grain, let the sun bring it to life, grind it up alive, and then let the sun bake it. That makes the only truly living, healthful breads and cereals.
Yes, these products will feel and taste different than most are used to, but the more one eats this type of real food, the more the body starts remembering and then one begins to really enjoy the taste and textures because they equate to life and health. :)

Crown Prince Natural Smoked Oysters in Pure Olive Oil, 3-Ounce Cans (Pack of 24) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've always loved smoked oysters but most brands come packed in cottonseed oil, which is vile to say the least. The Crown Prince oysters are packed in olive oil -- a huge step up in health and taste. They are convenient little bundles of protein that can be packed in a lunch, etc. They taste wonderful added to soup or stew. Great for last minute entertaining. Last but not least, I like to have a case on hand in my disaster supplies.

Thai Sweet Pepper and Garlic Sauce - 4 bottles Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We bought this as part ofd the assorted Iron Chef sauce set. We love it as a topper and dipping sauce. We actually used it on hamburgers instead of relish. It's a little like a duck sauce with a kick....yum. Also used it with panko (unflavored) on tilapia (used the sauce instead of egg and flour).

Nature's Path Organic Flax Plus Raisin Bran Cereal, 14-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 4) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)If you've never had flax seed oil before, you may notice a slightly "off" flavor to Nature's Path's version of raisin bran. I think even flax newbies will habituate to this taste, especially because of the familiar taste of the multi-grain flakes and the raisins (see other reviews). As one who sometimes puts a tablespoon of flax seed oil on top of oatmeal, the flax seed flavor was a welcome change from the usual cold cereal offerings.
THis cereal is pretty darn good for you> Obviously, you're gonna want to consult a doctor or nutritionist, and I am neither. From a lay person's pont of view, however, the 11 grams of fiber("11 WHOPPING grams," I should say--that's way more than oatmeal, and more than bran flakes or any other hot or cold cereal I've seen) 600 grams of Omegas and no saturated fat all sound very good for you. If offers 20% of the Daily Value of iron (see nutritional information below), without any added iron! Very rare. Perhaps it has to do with all those organic grains (and raisins): Organic whole wheat flour, organic wheat bran, organic oat bran, organic barley malt extract. (See below for a complete list of ingredients.)
Nature's Path is making some of the most interesting cereals around, with healthy organic ingredients not often found in other products (e.g., pomegranites, pumpkin seeds). You can get a good idea of the breadth and depth of their products by visitng their website at naturespath.com

Golden Malted All Natural Waffle & Pancake Mix, 33-Ounce Containers (Pack of 3) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was curious about the differnce between the two mixes and called the company. There is only one difference: All Natural mix uses natural real vanilla and it is only sold in retail packages. The Original mix uses artificial vanilla flavoring. That's it! The taste for both products is the same: Great! Natural is our choice.
In our opinion, the mix makes great pancakes and excellent waffles. The malted flaver is more distinct in the pancakes. Enjoy!

Solaray - Children's Multi - Cherry, 120 chewable tablets Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My son, who is anemic, won't take iron supplements anymore. The taste is just terrible. He does, however, love cherry, so when I found these vitamins I was very excited and hopeful. Within a second after putting it in his mouth, he gagged. I thought he was playing around, so I popped one in my mouth, and immediately spit it out. The taste of these chewables is just horrendous. There's a very strong aftertaste, which I'm assuming comes from the higher amount of iron. It's so unpleasant, however, that it can't be overcome and therefore renders this purchase wasted for me.

IRON CHEF Teriyaki Baste & Glaze - 4 BOTTLES Review

(More customer reviews)I first purchased this glaze because I am a fan of Iron Chef America. I love teriyaki but most of the bottled baste and glazes were just not right. This one beats all. Assorted 6 Pack of Iron Chef Sauces Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)When I first saw the Iron Chef sauces I thought they were probably a cheap product trying to take advantage of a popular TV show. But I decided to try one and I am glad I did. These are the best collection of asian cooking sauces I have ever tasted! My favorite is the General Tso's followed by the Sesame Garlic. The Teriyaki and Hoisin are also wonderful. The only one I am not a big fan of is the Sweet Pepper and Garlic. Try these, they are excellent.

Crown Prince Tiny Shrimp;4.25-Ounce Cans (Pack of 12) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I like to make a quick salad using these tiny canned shrimps but the cans of shrimp I got were overcooked and tough. I have bought this product many times before at my local grocery store but this was the first time that the shrimps were actually tough and hard like they had been cooked for too long. Normally I would recommend these tiny canned shrimps but if Crown Prince has changed it's preparation for some reason......I can not say that I would recommend these any longer.

Smart Balance Omega Natural Peanut Butter, Chunky, 16-Ounce Jar (Pack of 7) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I don't often review products, but after buying this peanut butter and discovering its strangely fishy taste, I felt the need to search "Smart Balance Peanut Butter fish" with Google. Sure enough, plenty of consumers agree that this peanut butter tastes like fish. It's likely the five star reviews you see on this and other sites are paid for by GFA Brands, as it doesn't seem possible that anyone could miss the fishy taste, which closely resembles fish oil capsules. You may also notice that most of the positive reviews here and elsewhere take the, "That other reviewer is crazy," approach. Another clue that these reviews probably aren't real.

Wine Country Chef Gourmet Marinade Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Mr Self-promoting Chef, forgot to mention the complete name and date of the publication that supposedly reviewed his product.

Click Here to see more reviews about: Wine Country Chef Gourmet Marinade

Taste/Consistency/Quality: With a perfect balance of garlic and sweetness, boasting tangy undertones. We used the marinade on both a loin top and a round top cut of beef, and we were blown away with how the marinade significantly improved the texture and taste of the inferior cut of meat. The consensus was that we'd rather buy cheaper meat and use this marinade, than eat an expensive steak...hands down.Uniqueness: While the marinade can be used with poultry, beef, pork and lamb, the brochure accompanying the marinade provided guidelines for preparation of porterhouse, top loin, tenderloin, ribeye and top sirloin cuts. This beef-niche allows it to compete with fewer others. The diversity of beef cuts creates an opportunity for this marinade to shine, as we strongly preferred the lower-quality meat - enhanced by this marinade - over the higher-grade cut of beef. Consumers looking to reach past leading big name brands on the shelf into more gourmet territory can dress up plain-jane beef in a way that mass-produced marinades do not typically perform.
