(More customer reviews)This is a terrific product and I wonder why it has virtually disappeared off supermarket shelves. Generations of babies used to eat it as their first cereal, but now cereals have gotten very fancy: flavored, instant-cooking, and loaded with additives other than just vitamins. I have severe food allergies, and although I can eat wheat, I cannot eat most additives. I cannot eat soy products, for example, and therefore cannot eat any commercial baked goods, all of which contain soy lethecin (an emulsifier) or, worse, bean derivatives (guar gum, carob gum), or corn derivatives(xanthine gum). I can eat Farina without any unhappy reactions whatsoever.
If people wonder why there are so many food allergies around now, let them just read the printed contents labels carefully. Commercial products these days contain everything but the kitchen sink. Even ice cream contains bean gums!

I'm not much of a tea connoisseur(can't really describe the flavor other than it's mild and flowery but the way you brew it can change the flavor) but I can say that drinking this tea has ruined me on any of those instant teas I used to drink. I tried drinking some instant tea recently and couldn't stand it even though I used to have no problem with it.

I'd recommend Googling the benefits and side effects. Some articles are more informative than others, you'll just have to keep digging, if you want to know more. As a bit of additional info, I like to drink Aloe Vera juice to counteract the problems caffeine and tannin can cause. As much as I'd love to go on about how amazing Aloe Vera is as both a juice and a gel, I'll just say that anyone that is even slightly interested in powerful natural remedies should do some serious research on it. The gel can treat anything from open wounds to radiation burns. The juice can treat anything from your teeth and gums down through your entire digestive tract. It's even helps allergies and diabetes but I'm getting way off topic now, so I'll just say to definitely do your own research.

Although I breastfed exclusively for 5+mths, I didn't have the time nor inclination to pump very often so I bought this to mix with baby cereal or water down pureed food once my frozen milk supply ended. Ready-to-eat in 2oz was the perfect convenience, especially since the lid screws back on. If these had a pop-top or tear-off-foil top that could not be resealed they would not be very convenient. My baby showed no signs of tummy problems when I introduced this formula. I cannot comment on how these would work as a bottle with the nipple attached because I never used it as such.
The bottle cannot be recycled in my CT town's municipal recycling program. I considered deducting a star for that!

I'm not hating on cotton...haha but the truth is cotton is not classified as a food producing crop so the regulations for using certain types of pesticides don't apply. Also the cotton seed itself has a toxin that must be removed before consumption (gossypol) Companies use it because it is a cheap byproduct of the cotton industry but is definitely not and I mean not a healthy product!

(More customer reviews)I have been using these croustades for many years, but I am now finding them hard to get. I am delighted that Amazon will have them.
They are extremely versatile. I use them for both savories and sweets, but sweets are my favorites! Their only drawback is that many recipes cannot be made far ahead, since the cups do soften, so I make many things ahead, popping goodies into the cups at the last minute.
Some things can be made ahead; I make mini pecan pies, using my usual recipe with more, and finer ground pecans. They bake up in about ten minutes, and keep for weeks. I also make tartlets ahead by pouring melted chocolate, white, dark or milk, into the shell, tipping to cover to the edges and draining on a rack over a pan. When set up, these will take chocolate mousse, ganache truffle mixtures, unbaked cheesecake mixtures, lemon curd, etc., and will be crisp for days. They are beautiful additions to a dessert tray. I also make mini pumpkin and mince pies, but these will soften eventually. I quickly fill them and bake them just before dinner, or just before dinner's end, and they are delicious with a dab of brandied whipped cream or hard sauce for the mince.
These are less trouble than either phyllo or puff pastry, and are thinner, allowing more of the taste of the filling to dominate. There are a million uses I haven't mentioned; only your imagination limits you!

The first two were on Similac Advance but I decided to try Good Start with my baby. It is so much cheaper than Similac and does not seem to give her as much gas as the Similac did with my others. The concentrate is great because it is extremly easy. I also like the powder form a lot better than Similac's because it is much finer which makes it mix a lot easier. I would highly recommend this formula for anyone that can not or decides not to breastfeed.

(More customer reviews)This product is wonderful for my little girl. She cannot tolerate milk based formaula's right now so the peds ofc put her on soy. This formula also helps her go poop, she was constantly consitipated on the Similac Isomil Soy.
The only complaint is that a case at the supermarket is $18.00 cheeper than ordering it from here. the Giant stores can order it for you but you would have to pick it up.
Would highly recommend this formula and beleive me I've tried many brands in the soy.
