(More customer reviews)I love fruitcake. Let me rephrase that; I love DELICIOUS fruitcake! In my part of the country the most famous fruitcakes come from the Collin Street Bakery in Corsicana, Texas. They sell zillions of them all over the world and they are delicious. However, after sampling both Grandma's and Collin Street's fruitcake very closely and side by side during the recent Christmas holiday, I have to admit that Grandma's is the best. You see, great fruitcake must have 3 parts: 1- cake, 2- fruit & 3- nuts. The trick isn't getting the 3 parts in, but how much of each to use in the fruitcake's creation. Most fruitcakes are way too much cake and not enough fruit and nuts. Collin Street Bakery's fruitcakes have a little too much cake and a few too many nuts and therefore, not enough fruit. Grandma's fruitcake has everything JUST RIGHT! That is the secret. Before this past Christmas I would have said that nobody on this planet could make a better fruitcake than Collin Street Bakery. But now? Buy yourself a GRANDMA'S fruitcake and you'll probably start a new family tradition. From now on our family will be having a new holiday guest at our house. (More customer reviews)I have been using lots and lots of Bertolli Oil for long time. I use it only raw, so I can fully appreciate its flavor.
I was really pleased to see it here on Amazon, at a price that is slightly lower than in any local stores.

What a huge disappointment it was to see, upon delivery, that the bottle was cheap transparent plastic.
Decent quality extra virgin olive oil MUST be in glass bottles or at most cans (e.g. Carli oil has some big cans along with glass bottles), even better if dark glass, because light and oxygen deteriorate its quality very easily. You will never ever see a good quality oil is plastic bottles!! I am Italian and this is something that any Italian knows very well.
I could not believe that they ruined the Bertolli oil storing it in cheap plastic, and the taste reflect this poor storage. It does not nearly have the same rich taste as the oil that is stored in glass. I believe this is because it has been stored for too long in that worthless bottle. It expires in 1 year so probably it was bottled about 10 months ago.
This oil as it is in the plastic is really not worth the price, for the taste it has, you can find some better oils for lower price (while to me the Bertolli oil in glass bottles is UNBEATABLE for its rich taste, and I have tried many many oils).
This is why I am canceling my subscription and I am going back buying again the same oil in a local store that sells it in respectable glass bottles.
You can google "extra virgin olive oil plastic" and you'll find many results that advice to stay away from plastic bottles as oils absorb PVCs a lot, even at room temperature. This is unhealthy and strongly affects the taste of the oil.

The texture is not very homogeneous probably because they do not use preservatives and it is made of bees wax. However all lumps eventually melt under the body's heat. I will recommend it to my friends and I did included it already in several baby showers' gifts.

It is, however, very good as an ingredient in other dishes. We use it in our yogurt base and in other recipes that call for powdered milk (sometimes ½ of each).
Recommended for cooking, but not for drinking.

Ju Ju Be Behave Earth Leather Diaper Bag Review

(More customer reviews)If you are reading this review, are probably wondering if this bag is worth the $160 cost, especially since it is not real leather. I wondered the same thing, and having owned this bag for over a week, I can say yes...for the most part. The exterior of the bag gets an A for construction and quality PVC-free materials (warning: some scuffing will occur since there are no feet on this bag, but it can easily be covered up with a Sharpie). This bag also gets an A+ for style...I wouldn't even know it was a diaper bag if it wasn't for the the glaring Ju Ju Be front logo plate (wish it was smaller!). The bag I received (in black) had absolutely no flaws: the stitching was perfect, there were no scuffs anywhere, no tiny marks, the zipper was very smooth and well aligned. I pretty much always expect some sort of flaw, especially when a bag is produced in China - there is always something. Not so with this bag. The faux leather can best be described as smooth and shiny. It does not have the heft of real leather, nor is it buttery soft. The strap drop (about 9.5") is comfortable, though I wish there was some grip to the underside of the dual shoulder straps. The longer strap allows me to wear the bag crossbody (I'm 5'9 and strap extended long enough). The longer strap comes with a removable pad which has a grip on the bottom. I found the pad to be obtrusive and uncomfortable/dorky, though, and don't use it. The front pocket is roomy enough for a small square wallet or your iPhone, plus it has a smaller zipper pocket for essentials you need to keep secure (it would fit cash and a few credit cards). The interior of the bag is jam packed with pockets: 3 small open pockets on one side, 2 larger open on the other (both large enough for a few diapers or wipes box), 3 small wall zipper pockets, and 1 large middle pocket. The large middle pocket is the most useful - it is a great place to "hide" diapers. The smaller 3 pockets are less useful - they aren't big enough for sippies, are too big for my cell, too small for my wallet, and aren't elasticized so not great for storage for bulky items like reusable grocery bags or spare socks. I just don't have a use for them. The larger two pockets on the other side fit diapers and wipes, but since the bag is short, it can be hard to close the zipper when you put size 6 diapers in the larger pockets. The three small zip pockets are OK but I wish there were two small zip and one large, deep zip pocket that ran the length of the wall of the purse. The pen loops seem loose - wish they were pen pockets instead, though, since my pens always fall out of them. I don't use the keyfob because it isn't detachable - I hate having to remove my keys from the attached purse fob whenever I want to start my car. The side bottle pocket is awesome. Wish there were 2 bottle pockets, actually, since I already have a case for my sunglasses and don't need one to be built into my bag. In any event, this bag is nearly perfect: the only things I would really change are the pockets and interior layout - fewer pockets, and add few elasticized pockets for sippies, burp cloths, wallets, spare clothes. It is still a high quality bag, but the organization is in hyperdrive. Is it worth the cost? Yes. Absolutely. Just wish the organization was better suited to my needs.

This German coffee is rich, smooth, and delicious. Sadly, it's very difficult to find in the USA.
Although I've bought it at European Market in Chattanooga, Tennessee, it's so popular they can't keep it on the shelf. Many times I'll drive there, only to find an empty display where the product should be. Wasted time and gas.

It is tough for us to gag down American chocolate anymore. They grind the cocoa beans finer and use less fat and less sugar, so it is much better for you. I am diabetic and it does not send my sugars up.
Belgians have very strong opinions when it comes to which chocolate is "best". They don't always agree, but more Belgians said Leonida's was the best than any other single brand we heard. This is not something you eat. You savor and treasure every piece. The price is good and you will not be disappointed.
