(More customer reviews)I am one who loves very strong flavors and a lot of spice in my food. With that in mind, This sauce was incredibly rich tasting. Very creamy, with a distinctive taste of coconut. It's not the same as taking a mouthfull of fresh coconut or drinking coconut milk, but you can discern the sweet coconut flavor. I made Chicken and shrimp Korma last night, using extremely thin sliced chicken breast (the kind of cut most oriental places put in their moo goo pai pan and other chicken dishes) The shrimp was 31-40 count. I added some fresh steamed veggies to the mix as well, and put it on a bed of Basmati rice. I heated the sauce, dumped it over top, and served it family style.
I thought the combination of the sauce with chicken, shrimp, AND veggies all worked, so its a versatile sauce. I think it might go well with just about any meat or veggie option. It did wear on my towards the end of the dish, however, due to the richness. I would have prefered a bit stronger garam masala flavor, so I compensated and added a little into the sauce. I won't be making this all the time, but every once and a while its a refreshing taste in indian cooking. I still think I'll stick to Patak's vindaloo paste. That's become a staple in my house when I'm not in the mood to make curry pastes from scratch.

Tasty, balanced and spicy without being too hot. Would recommend this rather than the Tim Douglas barbecue sauces if you want the beer basenotes in the sauce and cannot determine what beer to add.

Regardless, come with us and venture over to the dark side...if you dare! Just don't waste it on unworthy food. For starters, we recommend natural/organic meats. If you use it on tastes-like-rubber factory chicken, for example, you will simply end up with tastes-like-rubber chicken with tastes-like-dark-rich-and-complicated sauce on it. And we expect more of you than that. Don't ever let us, or more importantly, yourself, down. We won't.

(More customer reviews)This highly reminds me of "THE NEW COKE" debacle. Until recently, Ovaltine was perfect in my opinion. It dissolved perfectly and uniformly. Tasted great, and was better than most other chocolate drinks in a nutritional sense. Now the formula has changed and I can't stand it. It looks, tastes and mixes like Nesquik. It takes the whole of five minutes of hand mixing to get it to dissolve. WHY? It doesn't taste as rich or of any form of real chocolate. In fact, it is nothing like the good old Ovaltine that I've always loved. It gets two stars because, independent of the old Ovaltine, I simply don't like it. In comparison, I'd give it one star for complete mockery. Whoever decided to change the recipe obviously didn't do their research or even listen to their customer base. I won't drink Ovaltine again until the recipe changes back. They should probably call it "Ovaltine Classic" or something to signify it's return.

And McVitie make the finest "Rich Tea", having exactly the correct texture and firmness and delicate flavour which these biscuits should have. "Rich Tea" are also the ultimate dunking biscuits, for which purposes they must, of course, be entirely whole and not cracked even in the slightest, otherwise they will instantly fall in half and disappear to the bottom of the cup. Even whole, these biscuits present the maximum challenge to the dunker -- leave the biscuit in the tea just a fraction of a second too long and, again, you'll wonder where your biscuit went (and why you have blotting paper at the bottom of your cup). [American readers please note that dunking is, of course, entirely frowned upon in English high society, as an activity undertaken only by the peasant classes. It is thus to be indulged in only when entirely alone and in the privacy of one's own home, when there is no danger of being observed by the servants.]
Should your biscuits arrive broken, as may, unfortunately, be all too likely (as these are a fragile biscuit and McVitie's packaging consists of no more than a paper wrapper) do not despair; all is not lost. Simply tip a quantity of the broken biscuits into a bowl and pour hot milk over them. The result may look like soggy blotting paper, but the eating experience is exquisite!

(More customer reviews)I like all the Big Acres sauces, but this one is special because it's great straight up, or spiced up as you prefer. Here in Texas we sometimes like fire coming out of our ears, but Big Acres is a lot more polite to their dinner guests. So if you are more rowdy than reserved, you might want to throw in some jalapeno on this one. Why not add some zip to their Hot @ Spicy sauce instead? Well, that'd be like gilding the lily, frankly. And I LOVE the maple syrup/dark molasses flavor of this one, with the zip of jalapeno added for "bite."
The best thing about using it straight is that it's not only a good marinade (three or four hours is great, overnight is Special), but you can also use it as a brush-on sauce during cooking. It doesn't overpower the flavor of your barbecue, whether fish, pork, chicken, or beef.

Well, I received a box of these (along with some of the low-salt rounds), and was eager to see how they tasted. Let me tell you, they are awful. Like, absolutely disgustingly awful. I briefly considered tricking my gullible friend Tysie into trying one, but was too concerned she'd get sick at work to go through with it. Cheese with a two year shelf life should be a tell tale sign that something 'aint right. Consider yourself warned.

These Weight Watcher's pecan crown chocolates are the most delicious chocolate you can get in the "diet" food category (they taste as good as any non-diet chocolate) and they are high in fiber and low in calories and fat. They simply can't be beat! I haven't had any side effects whatsoever from them and I eat them all the time. My only complaint - they are hard to find!
